Smith Clerk Superior Court vtatesville, N. C, Dear Mr. Smith: Some weeks ago, Miss Beam filed with you 4 paper writing proported to be the will of her mother, This will was found in Mrs. Beam's Bible and the question was raised in your mind whether that was sufficient to show that it was placed for safe keeping in the language of the Statute, It is a matter of common knowledve that many people in the family status of Mrs. Beam had no place to keep valuable papers, and the most valuable possession she had was her Bible. Having placed the will in the most valuable possession seems to me to be sufficient to comply with the Statute in every way. Please look into this more fully and if you are satisfied that this is Mrs. Beam's will, please probate the same and appoint an administrator. Miss Beam says the will has already been proven by three witnesses, 7 v rohi-<tor » Turlington Yours very truly ‘ October 29, 1962 Mr. Z.
