H, Bass, respectfully reports the foregoing as a true and accurate account by him and of those pro- endering this settlement and the approval thereof by the court. Your Administrator further calls to the attention of the Cour that the administration of this estate has been a prolonged matter, owing to the charge placed upon all of the property by reason of Paragraph Two of the wi of J. H. Bass. In said paragraph, the testator provided for the lifetime support of Ada May Bass and Ninna Bass, his two daughters, and for their funeral and burial expenses and that prior administrators had paid out funds for the care and support, reducing the remaining balance and that in 1953, an order was made in this cause, directing the Administrator to continue to pay support under the will and that it be charged equally to the land and personal property; that previous administrators had converted all of the personal property assets of the estate into money and all of it has been used for the care and support of Ada May Bass and Ninna Bass; that in order to provide care and Support for the two daughters, additional funds were supplied by the sale of timber on the land which was, at the time of the con- version, a part of the real estate devised under Paragraph Three of the will; that by reason of the contribution of the land amounting to more than all of the personal property, there will be no personal property to be divided and paid under the provisions of Item Four of the will. Your Administrator further wishes to advise the Court, as a result of the above explanation, that in this distribution the remaining funds on hand represent conversion of real estate and would belong to the beneficiaries named in Paragraph Three of the will; that W. B. Chambers received an equal share with the children of Fletcher and Lillian Bass and having previously died, leaving one child, Lillian Bass Chambers, now living, she would be entitled to a one-thirteenth by inheritance from her father, Her living children, who inherited at the time of the death of J, H. Bass, were twelve in number and all of them are now living, except Ollie Louise Moose, who subsequently died, leaving two minor children who would be entitled to her one-thirteenth interest and these funds are paid into the court for the use and benefit of Brenda Moose and Shela Moose. Your Administrator further reports that he has caused notices SCOTT, COLLIER, NASH & HARRIS ATTORNEYS AT LAW STATESVILLE, N to be served on all of the parties living who are mentioned in the will, advising them of the time and place of the tender of this settlement, so that if any objections are to be heard as to a proper accounting,tHe same may be disposed of upon tender of this settlement, Respectfully submitted, e9 d. b. ne. J. H. Bass Estate Sworn to and subscribed before me, this March S , 1961. Clerk Superior Court The foregoing settlement of William H.
