To the Superior Court of Iredell County:- The above named Guardian respectfully shows to the Court: First. That the above named children are the only children and heirs- at~law of Savannah Bailey, deceased, for whom your Petitioner has been duly appointed as Guardian by the Superior Court of Irdell Coun- ty, and has qualified as such. Second. That the said above named minor children and heirs-at-law of 6. B. Bailey, deceased, are tenats in common and fee simple for the following lot situated in the City of Statesville, N. Tnird. That upon:said lot is a small dwelling house, which is in need of considerable repaira; that the Petitioner has been able heretofore to rent' the same for $4.00 per month, but, on account of its delapidated céndition, has not been able to obtain satisfactory tenants, nor to collect all the rents due therefor; that in order to secure a reason=- able rent for said premises the petitioner avers that it will be necesséa- ry to expend a considerable sum of money in remodeling and repairing the dwelling house, and he avers that the interest of his said wards will be materially promoted by a sale of said lot, and an invest- ment of the money derived therefrom at 6% interest with real estate ~~ security. Fourth.
