On motion it was ordered that the committee to select a Pastor be requested to introduce our new Pastor at the beginning of the morning service on February 18th. As this was the first meeting with Mr,McGeachy,the Session stood in honor of our new Pastor,who then opened the meeting with praver. On motion the reading of the minutes of the last meeting was dispensed with. Mr,Mc@eachy made some very appropiate remarks as to his plans for his ministry with us. On motion the Session ratified the action of the Board of Deacons in appropriating $100.00 for Rev,T.C.Cook for his kindness in helping us out over the past several months. On motion the Board of Deacons were requested to include in their budget a salary of $140.00 per month for Mrs.James A. Harkins,our excellent Director of Religious Fducation. On motion Mrs.E.L.Siler was received as a member ay paneer from Newnan Georgia Presbyterian Church,and Mrs.Meili Re MeCeachy by letter from Sugaw Creek Prespyterian Church near sharlotte,N.C.
