Price, Sr. Opened with prayer. The following persons were dismissed: Mr. and Mrs. Vance F, Gabriel to Centre Presbyterian Church, Mt. Mourne, N. C.; Charles V. Hol to Craddock Presbyterian Church of Portsmouth, Va., S. H. Buie having joined the First Baptist Church of Newton, N. C., and upon the re- quest of his pastor his name was ordered removed from our roll. It was ordered thai an Elder be assigned to each new member or family group received by Profession or by letter for general oversight and guidance. On motion, the Session approved the idea of a memorial fund for flowers, the details to be worked out by the flower committee of the women of the church, As the General Assembly will be in session, it was ordered that the monthly mmeting of the Session for April be omitted. The Session voted to give general approval to the Billie Graham meet- ing in Charlotte next fall. Mr, and Mrs, Sample and Mr, and Mrs. J. R. C., was held jointly with the Deacons on March 26, 1958 at 8:15 P. M.'in the Educational Building of the church. Present: Pastor - Rev. E. P,. Moye; Elders - Dr. C. L. Bittinger, J. H. Carter, Jr.,R. Thurston McNeely, D. F. Wilson, R. H. Baker, Sr., Dr. B. A, Brawley, W. G. Calhoun, A. H. Copelan, J. R. Allison, and 2. V. Turlington; Deacons - Hassel Gragg, Frank Harris, W. S. Neel, - T. The congregational meeting called for Sunday morning, June 14, 1959 for the purpose of passing a resolution authorizing the issuance of $100,000.00 church bonds and to approve the form of the bond, was held and the proper resolution and bond form were approved and adopted by the congregation. The resolution and bond form were ordered by the congregation to be recorded in the congregational records, On motion, a committee ot five members of the Session was authorized to be appointed forthe purpose of consulting with the building commi- ttee and arrange for the regular services of the church during the renovation ot the buildings; with the advice that the educational building and the Sanctuary be not torn up at the same time, but that one be left in tact for the regular services of the church, Following the adoption of the above motion, W.
