After reducing the scope of the project as far as possible the epplicant wes still — short of funds and submitted a request for an increase in grant om Bay 11, i936. This imcrease in grant was allowed and contracts for the construction were awried on June 30, 1936 and approved tr the Stete Director on July 10, 1936. Construction was resumed on July 12, 1936.
