commissioners who represent all of Iredell County to stop
this unnecessary spending, stop this borrowing, and let
the hospital provide the services they would like to provide
on a pay-as-you-go basis.
We taxpayers have faith in the hospital board, too,
Allen, and we know that they are good businessmen and
good businesswomen on that board, and that they can pay
for the services that they feel are necessary for the
people of this county by paying attention to their increases
that they have gotten and for the money that they have
saved and the money that they say that they can make every
year.

Mr, Commissioners, I should say, Mr. Chairman and Madam
Commissioner and other Commissioners:
Ladies and gentlemen:
I'm sorry that I have absolutely no polls to present
tonight nor charts. So this is going to be a little
bit different for a moment.
However, I would like to tell you and remind you
of one thing --that Lowrance and Iredell Memorial Hospitals
belong to you and I, as the taxpayers of Iredell County,
