Ropes Challenge Course and an Adjustment to the Facilitator Pay Scale (both effective
07/01107): Recreation Director Robert Woody requested Ropes Challenge Course fee increases
as follows: $1 increase per youth participant; $2 increase for adult and non -profits, and $5 for
corporate functions.
Also a request was made to adjust the Facilitator Pay Scale as follows:
Range
$60-150 per day (based on full 8-9 hour day)
day rates (2-3 hours) are 25% of full day pay
SURPLUS
'/2 day rates (4-5 hours) are 50% of full day pay
3/e day rates are 75% 6-7 hours of full day pay
Intern
$60 per da — 16-18 yr. olds and meets all intern requirements
Basic
$90 per da — until facilitator meets all advanced requirements
Advanced
$110-120 per day — meets all advanced requirements

$110 for first year as advanced facilitator

3. Request for Approval of a Resolution Authorizing the Sale by Public Auction of
Surplus Personal Property (Vehicles & Miscellaneous Office Equipment: The following
resolution was approved:
Resolution Authorizing the Sale by Public Auction
of Certain Surplus Personal Property
WHEREAS, the County of Iredetl has possession of a large inventory of personal
property items that are surplus to its needs and desires to dispose of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of
lredetl County that Dean A. Lail, Purchasing Agent, pursuant to the provisions of
N. C. G. S. 160A-266, is hereby authorized to dispose of the listed personal property at
public auction for cash or good check, and that said Purchasing Agent is hereby
authorized to conduct and execute any actions required to convey title to this property on
Saturday, June 13, 2007, 10:00 AM.
