following resolution:
EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES WEEK
WHEREAS, Emergency Medical Services personnel provide essential lifesaving
medical care to the citizens of Iredell County; and
WHEREAS, several hundred emergency medical technicians, emergency department '
physicians and nurses are involved in providing emergency care around the clock; and

ton, St. Paul Holy -Four Corner
Church of the Living God, came before the board re-
questing, an exemption from
taxes for the church for years 1977 through 1982. Rever-
end Hairston said he did not
know he needed to request an exemption for the church.
County Attorney Robert
N. Randall explained to the board that taxes could not
be exempted, but the period
for requesting, exemption could be extended.
MOTION from Commissioner Mills to extend the exemption period for the St. Paul
Holy -Four Corner Church of the Living, God from 1977 through 1982. VOTING: Ayes -
5; Noes - 0.
In extending, the exemption period, the following, taxes became invalid:
