Request for Approval to Abandon a Section of an Unnamed Road for Applicant
Skyler Little with Co -Signers John Mitchell, Joseph Kitchens, and Donnie Walker: Planning
Supervisor Steve Warren said an abandonment request had been received for an unopened right-of-
way that extended parallel to Bristol Drive in west Statesville. He said the unnamed road was
approximately 835 feet in length and 20 feet in width. Warren said the roadway could be described
as a "platted right-of-way on paper only." He said the section was part of an old plat recorded in

the adjacent property owners had requested the abandonment, the paperwork was in order, and the
staff recommended approval.
No one else requested to speak, and Chairman Tice adjourned the hearing.
