Rowan County line. She said the current orthophotography project might be off eight to
ten feet, but certainly not 200 feet. Owens said the Hoffner family had recently received
a letter from Iredell County's 911 Addressing Office, and this was what prompted the
family's request.
Doolittle said the property lines had been finalized with all of the counties with
the exception of Alexander, Wilkes and Yadkin. He said other property owners, who
had situations similar to the Hoffner family, had accepted the boundary lines. Doolittle
shared a copy of G.S. 153A-149, the law that provides authorization to a county to tax
property having "situs" within its jurisdiction or boundary lines.
Bike Routes: County Manager Mashburn displayed a map of the proposed bike
routes, and he advised that a copy would be made for the board members.
