library. He proposed that a committee of local citizens be established to review and
select artwork appropriate for the facility.
When asked if there were any recommendations for appointments on the
proposed committee, Ms. Stikeleather shared the names of the following individuals:
Art Advisorqy
Committee Recommendations
Director of the Iredell County Library
Steve Messick
A current county commissioner
Commissioner Ken Robertson volunteered
to serve on the committee.

Iredell County Resident
Linda Stikeleather
Commissioner Norman asked who would carry the insurance on any artwork
loaned to the library.
County Manager Mashburn said this would need to be worked out with the
artist, prior to the artwork loan.
(Note: Announcements of the committee vacancies will occur at the January 4
7 p.m. meeting, and the actual appointments will occur at the January 18 meeting.)
