Mr. Gallia said the country is dynamic. No community can
stand still, because the cost for standing still is declining.
Commissioner Stewart said she thought the growth is presently
being somewhat controlled by lack of available water and sewer.
Chairman Haire thanked Mr. Gallis for coming to the meeting
and, there being no further comments, adjourned the meeting at 9:55
p.m. Next meeting for the board of commissioners will be Thursday,
February 2, 1995, 7:00 p.m., South Wing Conference Room, Iredell
County Government Center, for a meeting with the recreation
advisory board.
