health director explained that no matching funds were needed from
the County.
REQUEBT FOR APPROVAL OF INFORMAL EIDE FOR EEALTS
DEPARTMENT #B CLEANING SERVICE AND CUBTODIANS Jerry Lundy
explained that on November 14, 1995, bids were opened for a two-
year cleaning contract for the Health Center. Rainbow Cleaning
Service was the low bid in the amount of $2,995 per month. This
company has been cleaning this facility for the past three years
for $3,700 per month. In fact, the company cleans all of the
buildings except for the Government Center and the Department of
Social Services. Bids received were:
Caldwell Janitorial Service $3,500 per mo.
Dun -Rite Cleaning Service 4,712
Rainbow Cleaning Service 2,995
The staff recommends Rainbow Cleaning with a stipulation
that they be allowed to use their discretion to cancel the

REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OP BIDS FOR BALER PARTS: Mrs. Caldwell
explained that on November 14, 1995, two bids for parts were
opened to partially re -line the balers at the Solid Waste
Facility. The bids were:

Commissioner Boone asked if it was anticipated that the
parts for the baler would be needed this soon. Ron Weatherman
said this was a budgeted item, and that it had been in last
year's budget. The parts, however, were not needed last year.
REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OP EIDE FOR MICROWAVE CONNORICATIONB
LINES Mrs. Caldwell advised that bids were opened on October 31,
1995, for the microwave communications link for the Emergency
Communications Center. A bid summary was:

Caldwell said that Nutel offered the low bid of $27,732 with
options totaling $6,456 for a total of $34,188. The total bid is
well within the budgeted amount ($42,000).
Mr. David Martin of ECOM/Emergency Management was present at
the meeting; however, there were no questions for him.
REQUEST POE APPROVAL OF OCTOBER RELEASES AND REFUNDS: Mr.
Brent Weisner announced that everything was in order for
approval.
He mentioned that originally 2600 tax bills were incomplete,
but that the majority of them would be mailed on November 22.
