Commissioner Stewart asked if funds had been approved in the 1999-2000 budget. The
manager said contingency funds could be used.
MOTION by Chairman Haire to grant permission for the county manager to seek bids for
a new sound system.
VOTING: Ayes - 5; Nays - 0.
ADJOURNMENT: MOTION by Chairman Haire to adjourn the meeting at 8:35 p.m.
NEXT MEETING: August 3, 1999, at 5:00 p.m. for an agenda briefing and 7:00 p.m. for the
regular meeting. Both meetings to be held in the Iredell County Government Center, 200 South
Center Street, Statesville, NC.
