This leaves a balance of $32,500 still needed for the $50,000 project. After considerable discussion by the board, a consensus of the board was reached as follows: 1. The county would lend an amount for this project, not to exceed $35,000. 2. Iredell Water Corporation would be obligated to repay the county within eighteen (18) to twenty-four (24) months from the date they received the funds from the county. 3. The loan would be interest-free. 4. The loan would come from the Water/Sewer Fund of the 1984-85 County Budget. 5. The money is to be returned to the county between six to eight months from the date the West Iredell Water Corporation receives the funds from FHA (within the time frame set forth in Item 2, above). (Bid Bond 561.00 check) Bell & Howard Chevrolet, Caprice $11,531.23 (Bid Bond - $1,200.36 check) (2 bonds on 1 check) The county manager, Wayne Deal, recommended that a contract be awarded to Mor- row Chevrlet from the EMS vehicle (full-size station wagon), and the fire marshal vehicle be a two -wheel drive purchased from Boggs Motor Company. MOTION from Commissioner Murdock to accept the county manager's recommendation, purchasing the 2 -wheel drive Ram Charger from Boggs Motor Company, for a total of $10,618.45, and the full-size station wagon from Morrow Chevrolet for a total of $11,220.00. VOTING: Ayes - 5; Nays - 0.
