Limitation on the Transfers at Three Vehicles a Year to Fire Departments and Rescue
Squads and to Establish a Price of $800 for the Vehicle Transfers Along with a Stipulation
that No More than One Vehicle will be Transferred To A Specific Agency (VFD/Rescue
Squad) Per Year
*This does not supersede the policy already in existence for the leasing of vehicles to Mitchell
Community College for law enforcement training.
*The $800 does not include the costs associated with the re -installation of any requested
emergency equipment. (The agencies will have to pay the $800 plus any charges to re-
install the equipment.)

5. Request from the Union Grove VFD and the Trinity VFD for Surplus Vehicles: As
was discussed during the briefing session, both VFDs will be allowed to purchase one surplus
vehicle at a cost of $800 plus any costs incurred for equipment re -installation.
6. Request for Approval of Ambulance Bids (Staff recommends for Northwestern
Emergency Vehicles to be Awarded the Bid for Two Vehicles @ a total of $211,724.00 +
taxes/fees): Northwestern Emergency Vehicles was awarded the bid, and a bid summary is as
follows:
