Cash McCall, president of the Iredell Water Cornoration, was nresent to hear
the report from the water/sewer study committee. `1r.'tcCall said he was interested
in the water sunnly and distribution for the entire county.

WATER TANK - REZONING REOUESTED rROT1 rENERAL BUSINESS TO M-1, LIGHT MANUFACTURING:
Lisa Beckham, nlanning director, identified the nronerty on the county zoning man.
she said the nlanning, board voted 5-3 to recommend the rezoning. Remarks
were head from the following nersons:
Shirley Little - Asked for the *+-1 rezoning.
rladvs Little - No comment.
Lucille Reece - No comment.
Mr. Reece - For the rezoning for new jobs.
Rachel Yount - No comment.
Ralph Yount - For the rezoning.
Bobby Pone - Against the rezoning, because of waste drainage and traffic on
Beulah Church Road.
Marpie Pone - Against rezoning.
Veronica Miller - No comment.
Joyce Anderson - No comment.
Ralph Yount - Said they were not nronosing to use the Beulah Church Road.
Margie Pope - Inc'uired once land is sold who can guarantee the Beulah
Church Road will not be used.
BEACHTREE ROAD AND KINGS CROSS LAND RESIDENTS - RESORT TO R-20 SINrLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL: Lisa Beckham, nlanner, identified the nronerty on the county zoning
man. She said 12 residents came and spoke in favor of the rezoning, at the planning
board meeting,.
Larry Davidson snoke in favor of the rezoning, saying 26 neonle owned nronerty
there and 24 had signed the netition renuestinp, the resoninp.. The other two nersons
were out of the country.
Cathy Grist spoke for the rezoning.

STUTTS ROAD, R-20 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO rENERAL BUSINESS CUD: As mentioned
earlier in the meeting„ the attorney renresenting Mr. Lambert could not be present
this evening and renuested a nostnonement of this rezoning,. At this time, the
board delaved the hearing,.
