Article DE Special Reouirement Notes to the Table of Permitted and Special Uses
SR 57. Homeless Shelter.

provided along all Fesidentially zoned property.
(C) Minimum habitable floor space of fifty (50) one hundred (100) square feet
shall be provided for each individual sheltered.
(D) No such facility shall be located within one-half (1/2) mile of an existing
shelter for the homeless or any other group care facility.
(E) The facility shall be contained within the building of and operated by a
government agency or nonprofit organization.
(F) The facility operator(s) shall provide continuous on-site supervision by an
employee(s) and/or volunteer(s) during the hours of operation.
(G) A complete site plan shall be provided for all homeless shelters, which must
conform to all applicable health, building code, licensing laws and regulations.
(H) Screening and landscaping which complies with Article XII shall be provided
along all property lines abutting residentially zoned property.
