Section 3. This Capital Project Fund shall continue until the project is complete.
Section 4. Payments from this Capital Project Fund shall be authorized by the County
Manager or his designee.
Section 5. Any funds remaining at the completion of the renovation shall be returned to the
Capital Reserve Fund.
This Amended Project Ordinance is effective upon adoption.

8. Request for Approval of a Resolution Authorizing the Sale, by Public
Auction, of Surplus Personal Property: During the agenda briefing, Finance Director
Blumenstein requested approval of a resolution authorizing a surplus property sale on
June 25, 2005. The resolution is as follows:
WHEREAS, the County of Iredell has possession of the following items of
personal property which are surplus to its needs and desires to dispose ofsame.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners of
Iredell County, that Dean A. Lail, Purchasing Agent, pursuant to the provisions of G.S.
160A -270(b), is hereby authorized to dispose of the listed personal property at public
auction for cash or good check, and said Purchasing Agent is further authorized and
directed to execute the necessary functions associated with this sale.
