Chairman Tice stated that in accordance with G.S. 58-72-50, it was mandatory to
approve the public officials' bonds each year and to evidence their approval in the
board's minutes. She continued by saying the officials' bonds were for the following
positions:

Finance Officer $100,000
Tax Collector 50,000
Deputy Tax Collector 50,000
Deputy Tax Collector 50,000
Register of Deeds 10,000
Sheriff 10,000
OTIO by Commissioner Norman to approve the public officials' bonds as
presented.
VOTING: Ayes - 5; Nays — 0.
ANNOUNCEMENTS/APPOINTMENTS OF COMMISSIONERS TO
SERVE ON VARIOUS BOARDS AND COMMITTEES: The commissioners
discussed the committees/boards requiring board representation, and agreed to the
