some of the liability of Surry-Yadkin. The county attorney also
questioned Tri -County Mental Health Authority's liabilities and
receivables.
Ms. Knisley stated it was her recommendation for Iredell
County to join the Surry-Yadkin Mental Health Authority. She also
recommended that the Mental Health Task Force remain in place
through the transition and for a while beyond to insure delivery of
services.
SOLID WASTE FACILITY PHASE II BIDS
The next item of business was to review and approve bids for
the grading for the landfill expansion. The bids were presented by
Evie Caldwell, Purchasing Agent. The low bid was from White Fox
Construction Company. The engineer, Jim Woodie, said he didn't see
any reason why White Fox should be eliminated for this work.

The Board approved the low bid of White Fox Construction
Company in the amount of $225,420.00.
