EAST ALEXANDER FIRE TAX DISTRICT: Mrs. Blumenstein said she had
Placed $5,475 in capital reserve for this department and she had left the tax rate at 4.25.
MT. MOURNE FIRE TAX DISTRICT: Blumenstein gave an overview of the
department's budget.

Blumenstein said she had inquired and was told the department wanted to save for
a new building. Mrs. Blumenstein said she told the Mt. urne officials that a money
market certificate was just as "liquid.^ Blumenstein noted Mothat for all other volunteer fire
departments, either an independent audit was provided or an auditor's review report was
submitted. She said that for many years, Wayne Turner, a board member of the Mt.
Mourne VFD, had been preparing the report,

FUTURE BUDGET MEETINGS: Due to several people having
scheduled budget meetings for Thursday, May 31 and Thursday, The board agreed to meet on conflicts, the

Monday, June 11 meeting was later cancelled due to the School Board
holding a meetingin the Y June 1 L (Note: The
Government Center. A replacement meeting was scheduled for
Wednesday, June 13.)
