No mobile home of any class shall be permitted to be placed within the jurisdiction of this
Ordinance (or moved and placed if already within the jurisdiction of this Ordinance)
unless it was constructed (after -June -15,-1875) [less than twenty years from the date
of the Zonis Permit) after July 1.11976 and unless it meets or exceeds the construction
standards promulgated by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
that were in effect at the time of construction.

(a) single wide mobile homes not meeting apcearance standards of SR 7
Class B Mobile Home may be Placed within the county only as an
accessory mobile home cer SR 3 or in Mobile Home Pants cermitted urxfer

required ventilation and access
(d) A oemument front porch of at least 38 spuare feet fn area shall be
constructed within 8114 inches of the floor elevation. Ail other entrances
shall have steps. ramps or other means of access constructed to comply
with the rePuirementa of Volume VII of the North Carolina Building code for
simple family residential construction
Note: Revisions as the result of the addition of a Class 'C" mobile home (SR 51)
SR 3, (a) Only one, accessory Class A or B or C mobile home shall be

Definitions (page 138):
Mobile home. class A, Amulti-sectional mobile home constructed{aRe+ July 3,;p7f;}
within the last twenty (20) ears, that meets or exceeds the construction standards
promulgated by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development that were in
effect at the time of construction and that satisfies the additional criteria for a class A
mobile home contained in Article IX.
Mobile home. class B A mobile home constructed within the last
twenty 1201 veers that meets or exceeds the construction standards promulgated by
the US Department of Housing and Urban Development that were in effect at the time
of construction and that satisfies the additional criteria for class B mobile home
contained in Article IX
