RECREATION RESOLUTION: MOTION from Chairman Sloan to adopt the following
resolution:
JULY IS RECREATION AND PARKS MONTH
WHEREAS, positive leisure experiences are vital to good physical, mental, and emotional well-
being, enhancing the quality of life for all individuals; and
WHEREAS, the recreation and park profession has made a commitment to provide year-long recrea-
tion facilities and park resources which benefit our great community; and
