intersection of SR 15125, Stamey Farm Road, and 1-40; more specifically described as Lot 29 and a
portion of Lot 26; Block B, of Iredell County Tax Map 81:

AMENDMENTS TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE REQUESTED BY MR. BUSBY: MOTION from Commissioner Bryan to
approve the amendments to the zoning ordinance as requested by Mr. Busby; namely, Section 41.18(a)
and Section 80.3.

board, which are: 108.3, 305.2(a), 305.2(b), 309.3(a), (b), (c), and (d).

AMENDMENT TO SECTION 41. (DEFINITIONS) OF THE IREDELL COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE.
Add Section 41.18 (a) . .. .
Kennel - An establishment wherein any person engages in business or practice, for a fee, of
boarding, breeding, grooming, letting for We,' & training of more than three (3) domesticated
animals at any one time; or an establishment wherein any person engages in the,business or practice,
for a fee, of selling more than one (1) litter of domesticated animals at any one time or the
selling of any three (3) individual domesticated animals (not defined as litter herein) at any one
time. Domesticated animals, for the purpose of this Ordinance, sha11`he defined as dags, cats, and
other generally acceptable household pets. Litter, for the purpose of this Ordinance, shall be
defined as the progeny resulting from the breeding of two domesticated animals. The following shall
not constitute the operation of a kennel as defined above and in no way shall this provision
regulate the following:
(a) The ownership of domesticated animals as household, pets.
(b) The ownership of domesticated animals for hunting or frackn`g'purposes.
(c) The ownership of domesticated animals for .the �purpose.of of at
shows, obedience or field trials; and ` -
(d) The ownership of domesticated animals for the purpose. of protection, or
guarding of residences or commercial establishment's..._,,
