RECLASSIFICATION OF TELECOMMUNICATORS: The County Manager recommended the reclassifications as
presented at the briefing and again at this meeting. The reclassifications were discussed by Larry
Dickerson, Communications Department Head, and Carolyn Harris, Personnel Director. It was noted
that approximately $10,000 would be needed to take care of the funds for the reclassification;
however, it was thought there would be enough in lapsed salaries without a budget amendment.
MOTION from Commissioner Hedrick to approve the request as recommended by the County Manager,
which is as follows:
TC I - From Grade 61 14,952 - 20,424 to Grade 63 16,344 - 22,320
TC II - From Grade 63 16,344 - 22,320 to Grade 65 17,868 - 24,408
VOTING: Ayes - 5; Nays - 0.
