Mr. David Currier, Statesville Planning Director, has petitioned the County on behalf of the
City of Statesville, and Mr. Gary Huss was present in behalf of the City.
Mr. Ray Moose was present and inquired about rezoning of his property at a later date. Chair-
man Hedrick and Vice Chairman Stewart both made remarks about the rezoning process.
No one else present spoke for or against the rezoning request.
REZONING REQUEST - ROBERT M. CHURCH, CASE #8801-2: Mr. Lundy identified the property on the
county zoning map. This property is located on SR 1890, Tomlin Mill Road, and the request is to
rezoning from RA to HB. Mr. Lundy said this property is in the commercial node of the Land Use
Plan. The rezoning request is recommended by the planning board.
Mr. and Mrs. Church were present in the audience in support of their request.

08807-3: Mr. Lundy identified this property on the county zoning map. Mrs. Susan Goode, agent for
Trammell Crow, was present in support of the rezoning request. The property is located on NC 150,
near I-77, and is being proposed to be rezoned from RA to SC, Shopping Center District. This
rezoning is recommended by the planning board.

approximately 8.28 acres.
